The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Oyo State invites applications from competent companies to bid for the Construction of Lecture Theatre for the Oyo State Institute of Information, Communication Technology (ICT), and Enterpreneurship Studies. Interested bidders should possess relevant qualifications and experience.

The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Oyo State is inviting applications from competent companies to bid for the Construction of Oyo State Institute of Information, Communication Technology (ICT), and Enterprenueship Studies at Ajia/Inukan LCDA, Ibadan as presented hereunder:

Title: Invitation to Bid for the Construction of Lecture Theatre for the Oyo State Institute of Information, Communication Technology (ICT), and Enterprenuership Studies

Lot Number: Lot 3
Location: Ajia - Ibadan, Oyo State
Delivery Period: 12 weeks
Bid Security: 2% of Bid Price

Tender Pre-Qualification Requirements
Each tender should be accompanied with the following:

Evidence of Company's Certificate of Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
Evidence of Company's Registration with Oyo State Bureau of Public Procurement, Governor's Office, Secretariat, Ibadan.
Tax Clearance Certificate of at least 2 Directors (in case of Limited Liability Companies or the Proprietor/Partner (In case of Enterprise for at least (3) years from 2020 valid till December, 2022.
Evidence of Registration of Business Premises with Oyo state Government.
Evidence of verifiable list of previous/similar projects executed with letters of commission and certificate of practical completion.
Evidence of Registration with Ministry of Education, Science and Technology.
FIRS Tax Clearance Certificate of Registration of the Company (Limited Liability Company) for at least (3) years.
Evidence of payment of Tender Fee of N450,000.00 into Government coffers using the code 4040036 into any of the following banks: (a) Wema Bank (b) First Bank (c) Polaris Bank.
A sworn affidavit disclosing:
- Whether or not any officer or the relevant committees of procurement entity or Bureau or present Director, Shareholder, or has financial interest in the bidder and confirm that all Information presented in the bid are true and correct in all particulars.
- That the Company is not receiving any form of insolvency, bankrupt proceedings nor the subject of any form of winding up petition proceedings.
- That none or any of the Directors of the company has been convicted in any Country for financial crimes relating to fraud or financial impropriety or falsification of facts relating to any matter.
Letter of consent to allow for verification of all the documents submitted.
Late submission will be rejected.

Note: Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding document at the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Office of the Director, Planning, Research and Statistics at Room 49.

Collection of Bidding Documents
A complete set of Bidding Documents may be collected by interested bidders from "The Office of the Director, Planning, Research & Statistics, Ministry of Education, Science and Technology" upon the submission of written application to:

Closing Date

6th December, 2024.

Submission of Documents
All completed bid documents must be in triplicates, sealed envelopes marked "OYO/MOES&T/ CONSTRUCTION OF OYO STATE INSTITUTE OF INFORMATION, COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY (ICT), AND ENTERPRENUESHIP STUDIES AT AJIA/INUKAN LCDA, IBADAN" and should be submitted to:

Bid Opening

Received bid documents must be opened at the expiration of Tender period on 6th December, 2024.

Important Notice

Companies are advised to deal directly with Ministry of Education, Science and Technology as no agent or proxies have been appointed for this purpose. Any person/company who does contrary does so at his/her own risk.
Notwithstanding the submission of tender documents, the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology is not obliged to award the contract to any contractor.
The advertisement for invitation to tender shall not be construed as a commitment on the part of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology nor shall it entitle any Contractor to makeany claims whatsoever, and or seek any indemnity from the Ministry.
