Introduction

The Federal Government of Nigeria, on behalf of the Rivers State Government has received a Credit from the World Bank towards the cost of improving the utilization and quality of immunization plus and malaria services in selected states of the federation and intends to apply part of the proceeds towards the payments for the Procurement of Medical Equipment for the 135 Selected Public Health Centers (PHCs) in Rivers. State.
The Rivers State Government, through the Project Implementation Unit now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Procurement of Medical Equipment for the 135 Selected Public Health Centers (PHCs) in Rivers State as detailed below:
This is a single package but will be awarded on lot basis. Only 1 Lot will be awarded to a successful bidder.

Bidding Procedures

Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures as specified in the World Bank's Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers 2020 ("Procurement Regulation") and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulation.
In addition, please refer to paragraphs 3.14 to 3.17 in the "Procurement Regulation" on the Conflict of Interest.

Minimum Requirement to Bid

Must be registered with Corporate Affairs Commission
Must possess:
- Current Tax Clearance (i.e. that for 2021,2022, and 2023)
- Audited account statement for 2021, 2022 and 2023 etc
- Evidence of similar jobs in the last three years (2021,2022,2023)
- Evidence of possessing Manufacturer Authorization.

Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information in writing from State Project Implementation Unit (SPIU), through the Program Manager (PM) or Email: siyeoforidede@yahoo.com and may also inspect the bidding documents during office hours between 9.00 am 4.00 pm, Monday Friday at Room 25 third Floor, State Ministry of Health, State Secretariat, Moscow Road Old GRA Port Harcourt.

Payment for Bidding Documents

A complete set of bidding documents in English Language may be purchased by interested eligible bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Fifty Thousand Naira (N50,000.00) each the package of the purchase of Medical Equipment and Ultra-Sound Scan.
The method of payment will be by Bank Draft issued in favor of Project Manager, Rivers State IMPACT PROJECT (IMMUNIZATION).

24th February, 2025 (10:00a.m).
