The Lagos State Commercial Agriculture Development Project (LSCADP) Seeks to Strengthen agricultural production systems and to facilitate access to markets for targeted value chains (Rice, Aquaculture and Poultry) among Small and Medium Scale Commercial Farmers in the State.
- LSCADP intends to achieve this partly through the Rehabilitation of Farm Access Roads as listed below:
- Araga Farm Settlement Access Road Phase 2, Epe
- Rice for Job Farm Access Road, Itokin
- Fish-to-Wealth Farmers (FTW), Ajasa Command, Farm Access Road, Meiran
- Rhyss Farm Access Road, Itamaga, lkorodu
- Best Food Farm Access Road Km 42, Abijo, Eti-Osa
- Ise Farm Access Road, Ise, Ibeju-Lekki
This necessitated the need for the preparation of specific Environmental and Social Management Plans (ESMP5) for each of the proposed roads which is driven by the principles of World bank (OP 4.01 Annex C, Environmental Management Plan 1999) to avoid potential adverse environmental and social impacts that could result from the rehabilitation of the above referenced roads.
By this publication, the general public is hereby notified that copies of this Environmental and Social Management Plan (ESMP) Report would be available for twenty one (21) days (4th December, 2012) from the date of this publication for members of the public perusal at the following locations
