Albarka Health Spring Foundation (AHSF) is making a Request for Quotation (RfQ) for the Construction of Women and Girls Safe Space (WGSS) in Wurno, Rabbah, Sokoto-South, and in Denge-Shuni LGA in Sokoto State. This project aims to enhance food security, improve WASH services, and promote psychosocial well-being for vulnerable populations, particularly women, girls, and people living with disabilities. Interested and eligible bidders are expected to possess relevant qualifications and experience.

Albarka Health Spring Foundation (AHSF) is a non-profit and non-governmental organization founded in 2012 by young researchers. It was incorporated by the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC/IT/91613) in 2016. Since its inception in October 2016, AHSF has focused on enhancing the quality of life for vulnerable populations in communities across Northeast, North-central, Northwest, and Southwest Nigeria. AHSF operates within both emergency and developmental contexts, with its program primarily focused on identifying gaps that affect vulnerable populations and addressing those gaps through resource-based planning and project implementation.

Background

Albarka Health Spring Foundation (AHSF), in collaboration with CBM Christoffel-Blindenmission and funded by the German Cooperation, is implementing the project titled: “Strengthening the Resilience of Internally Displaced Persons and Vulnerable Households in Host Communities in Northwestern Nigeria (Kebbi, Sokoto, Katsina).
This project aims to enhance food security, improve WASH services, and promote psychosocial well-being for vulnerable populations, particularly women, girls, and people living with disabilities.
As part of this initiative, Albarka Health Spring Foundation (AHSF) invites qualified contractors with operations in and around Sokoto State to submit quotations for the following WGSS construction in 4 LGAs in Sokoto State (Sokoto-South, Wurno, Rabah, and Denge-Shuni).

Interested Bidders may quote for any one, two, or all of the Lots if they have the capacity to complete the construction within the acceptable timeline.

Lot 1: Construction of Women and Girls Safe Space (WGSS) in Wurno LGA, Sokoto State.
- This will be located on the premises of the Primary Health Care Center at Marafa, in Wurno LGA.
Lot 2: Construction of Women and Girls Safe Space (WGSS) in Rabbah LGA, Sokoto State.
- This will be located on the premises of the Primary Health Care Center at Rabbah town, in Rabbah LGA.
Lot 3: Construction of Women and Girls Safe Space (WGSS) in Sokoto-South LGA, Sokoto State.
- This will be located on the premises of the Primary Health Care Center at Gagi, in Sokoto-South LGA.
Lot 4: Construction of Women and Girls Safe Space (WGSS) in Dange-Shuni LGA, Sokoto State.
- This will be located on the premises of the Model Primary Health Care Center at Dange town, Dange-Shuni LGA.

Albarka Health Spring Foundation (AHSF) kindly requests your quotation for the provision of goods, works, and/or services as detailed in Annex 1 of this RFQ.
This Request for Quotation comprises the following documents:

Annex 1: Schedule of Requirements
Annex 2: Quotation Submission Form
Annex 3: Technical and Financial Offer

When preparing your quotation, please refer to the RFQ Instructions and Data. Note that quotations must be submitted using Annex 2: Quotation Submission Form (AHSF RFQ form) and Annex 3: Technical and Financial Offer, following the method and by the date and time
specified.

30th June, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Nigerian Standard Time.

Contractors with operations in and around Sokoto State are encouraged to apply.
You are responsible for submitting your quotation by the deadline.
Quotations received after the submission deadline, for whatever reason, will not be considered.
AHSF does not commit to awarding the tender to the lowest offer and reserves the right to accept the whole or part of the proposal after careful evaluation.
