Albarka Health Spring Foundation (AHSF) is making a Request for Quotation (RfQ) for the Construction of Women and Girls Safe Space (WGSS) in Wurno, Rabbah, Sokoto-South, and in Denge-Shuni LGA in Sokoto State. This project aims to enhance food security, improve WASH services, and promote psychosocial well-being for vulnerable populations, particularly women, girls, and people living with disabilities. Interested and eligible bidders are expected to possess relevant qualifications and experience.




Albarka Health Spring Foundation (AHSF) is a non-profit and non-governmental organization founded in 2012 by young researchers. It was incorporated by the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC/IT/91613) in 2016.  Since its inception in October 2016, AHSF has focused on enhancing the quality of life for vulnerable populations in communities across Northeast, North-central, Northwest, and Southwest Nigeria.  AHSF operates within both emergency and developmental contexts, with its program primarily focused on identifying gaps that affect vulnerable populations and addressing those gaps through resource-based planning and project implementation.

Background

  • Albarka Health Spring Foundation (AHSF), in collaboration with CBM Christoffel-Blindenmission and funded by the German Cooperation, is implementing the project titled: “Strengthening the Resilience of Internally Displaced Persons and Vulnerable Households in Host Communities in Northwestern Nigeria (Kebbi, Sokoto, Katsina).
  • This project aims to enhance food security, improve WASH services, and promote psychosocial well-being for vulnerable populations, particularly women, girls, and people living with disabilities.
  • As part of this initiative, Albarka Health Spring Foundation (AHSF) invites qualified contractors with operations in and around Sokoto State to submit quotations for the following WGSS construction in 4 LGAs in Sokoto State (Sokoto-South, Wurno, Rabah, and Denge-Shuni).

Interested Bidders may quote for any one, two, or all of the Lots if they have the capacity to complete the construction within the acceptable timeline.

  • Lot 1: Construction of Women and Girls Safe Space (WGSS) in Wurno LGA, Sokoto State.
    • This will be located on the premises of the Primary Health Care Center at Marafa, in Wurno LGA.
  • Lot 2: Construction of Women and Girls Safe Space (WGSS) in Rabbah LGA, Sokoto State.
    • This will be located on the premises of the Primary Health Care Center at Rabbah town, in Rabbah LGA.
  • Lot 3: Construction of Women and Girls Safe Space (WGSS) in Sokoto-South LGA, Sokoto State.
    • This will be located on the premises of the Primary Health Care Center at Gagi, in Sokoto-South LGA.
  • Lot 4: Construction of Women and Girls Safe Space (WGSS) in Dange-Shuni LGA, Sokoto State.
    • This will be located on the premises of the Model Primary Health Care Center at Dange town, Dange-Shuni LGA.

Albarka Health Spring Foundation (AHSF) kindly requests your quotation for the provision of goods, works, and/or services as detailed in Annex 1 of this RFQ.
This Request for Quotation comprises the following documents:

  • Section 2: RFQ Instructions and Data
  • Annex 1: Schedule of Requirements
  • Annex 2: Quotation Submission Form
  • Annex 3: Technical and Financial Offer

When preparing your quotation, please refer to the RFQ Instructions and Data. Note that quotations must be submitted using Annex 2: Quotation Submission Form (AHSF RFQ form) and Annex 3: Technical and Financial Offer, following the method and by the date and time
specified.

Application Closing Date
30th June, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Nigerian Standard Time.

  • If the need for additional information arises, please use your company letterhead, which must be properly signed and stamped by an authorized person
  • Contractors with operations in and around Sokoto State are encouraged to apply.
  • You are responsible for submitting your quotation by the deadline.
  • Quotations received after the submission deadline, for whatever reason, will not be considered.
  • AHSF does not commit to awarding the tender to the lowest offer and reserves the right to accept the whole or part of the proposal after careful evaluation.
