Invitation To Tender for Contruction at Osubi Airport, Okpe Local Government Area of Delta State

1.) Tenders are hereby invited from suitably qualified companies for the execution of the following projects at Osubi Airport, Okpe Local Government Area of Delta State:

(A) Construction of:
New 4KM Runway and Support Facilities;

• Phase 1 of New Apron; Fuel Tank Farm;
• Generator House;
• Control Tower with ATC Consoles; and
• Fire Force Station;

(B) Construction of a Fence and Gate House;

(C) Construction of Internal Roads and Car Parks; and

(D) Construction of an Air force Apron, Hanger and Taxi-Way.

2.) Tender Application Forms and Documents are to be collected from the

Directorate of Special Infrastructure
Asaba

3.) All tenders must be accompanied by the following:

• Evidence of Registration with the Delta State Government;
• Evidence of Registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission;
• Verifiable contact address of Business Office(s) premises, Utilities bill etc;
• Evidence of payment of N250,000.00 Tender fee for Project A, N60,000.00 for Project B and N100,000.00 for Projects C and D made payable to Delta State Government Internal Revenue Account;
• Evidence of professional/technical qualification;
• Evidence of financial capability (Bank Statement and Audited Accounts for the last 3 years);
• Evidence of similar previous jobs successfully executed;
• DSIR card;
• Memorandum/Articles of Association;
• Current Tax Clearance
• Evidence of payment of a non-refundable deposit of N500,000.00 for Projects A, C and D and N250,000.00 for Project B in Bank draft in favour of Directorate of Special Infrastructure for the processing and technical analysis of tender documents.

4.) Tenderers are advised to visit and inspect the Project sites before tendering.

5.) Closing Date: All tender documents which should be in two (2) copies together with the completed Blank Bill of Quantities (B.O.Q.) should be returned not later than 5th December, 2012, in a wax sealed envelope addressed and delivered to:

6.) The project title should be clearly marked at the top left hand corner of the envelope.

7.) Tenderers should note that the Board is not constrained to accept the lowest bidder.

8.) Tenders will be opened on a date to be communicated subsequently in the presence of the bidders or their representatives.
