The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) through the Abuja Environmental Protection Board (AEPB) is inviting competent and interested contractors to submit Prequalification Documents for the under listed jobs.

Technical/Pre-Qualification Requirements:
  • Interested contractors must include copies of the following documents in their submission and original to be made available for sighting during tender opening:
  • Evidence of registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) and Articles of memorandum of Association.
  • Evidence of Tax Clearance for the last three years (2009, 2010 & 2011).
  • Verifiable and up-to-date evidence of registration with Pension Administrator and remittance of pension fund contributions in line with section 16, sub-section 16(d) of the Public Procurement Act, 2007 for the company with at least five (5) and above personnel in its payroll;
  • Verifiable and up-to-date evidence of contribution of 1% of your organization’s total annual payroll in respect of each calendar year to ITF for organization having S or more employees or having not less than 5 but with a turnover of N50 Million and above.
  • Evidence of Audited Account prepared by a Chartered Accounting firm for the last three years.
  • Interested companies should have up to date returns with the CAC and be informed that due diligence could be conducted.
  • Detailed Company profile.
  • Company’s bank statement for the last 12 months.
  • List of verifiable documentary evidences of jobs of similar scale and type successfully executed within the last three years.
  • A sworn affidavit confirming that none of the company Directors has ever been convicted in any Court of Law in line with the provisions of Part P Section 16(6e-f) of Public Procurement Act 2007.
  • Prospective bidders for lot 2, 3, 4, 5 in table B shall include their list of equipment to execute the job.

Closing Date for Submission of Technical/Pre-Qualification Documents
The Technical Documents, Three copies each (ONE original and two (2) other copies) should be in a sealed envelope labeled as prequalification Document for (LOT) All pages of the documents should be dully endorsed and should be submitted at Procurement Unit, Abuja Environmental Protection Board not later than 1.30PM on 6th December, 2012. The representatives of the companies that submitted the prequalification documents and approved Civil Right Organizations are invited to witness the opening of the documents on the same day by 2.00pm at the Conference Room of the Abuja Environmental Protection Board at no cost to the AEPB or FCTA.

Financial Bid
Note that only companies that are prequalified through the above mentioned Technical Requirements shall be invited to submit Financial Bids and shall be issued the document only upon the presentation of an evidence of payment of non-refundable Tender fee of N10000.00 (Ten Thousand Naira) paid to FCT Central Revenue Account No: 051503010000426, at Fidelity Bank Plc, Central Area Abuja.

Please Note:
  • A Company/Contractor can not apply for more than two lots.
  • Late submission will be rejected.
  • This advertisement to tender shall not be construed to be a commitment on the part of Abuja Environmental Protection Board nor shall it entitle the tenderer to make any claim what-so-ever and or seek any indemnity from the Board by virtue of such tenderer having responded to the advert.
  • Register must be signed on the submission of Documents.
  • The Board may, at its own discretion, reject any documents which do not conform to the basic rules.
