Federal College of Education (Technical) Invitation to Pre-Qualification documents for the Construction Work and Furniture/Equipment (TETFUND) Normal Intervention Projects

Competent and qualified firms/companies are invited to submit Pre-Qualification documents for the following construction work and furniture/equipment (TETFUND) Normal Intervention Projects.

1.) Building Construction

• Proposed 350 Capacity Lecture Theatre for School of Science Education
• Proposed academic staff office block
• Proposed classroom arid offices for Primary Education Department

2.) Procurement of 2 No. 500kva Perkins Sound Proof Generating Set

3.) Lot I: Procurement of Vehicles and Tractor

• Procurement of Ambulance for the College Clinic
• Procurement of 2 No. 18 Seater Toyota Hiace Buses for Field Trip
• Procurement of Swaraj Tractor Redbull 76 (2WD) for Agric Department

4.) Lot II: Provision of Various Tools and Equipment

• Procurement of Technical Equipment for School of Technical Education
• Procurement of Multi-media equipment for five Schools
• Procurement of Tools/Equipment for Fine Art Department
• Procurement of Home Economics Equipment

5.) Lot III: Provision of Office/Classroom Equipment/Furniture

• Furniture of Academic Staff Office
• Furniture of Lecture Theatre for School of Vocational Education
• Furniture of Model Office for School of Business Education

Pre-Qualification Requirements
Application for pre-qualification should be accompanied with the following:

• Company’s Certificate of Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission;
• Evidence of Registration with the Federal College of Education (Technical), Asaba;
• Company’s profile and evidence of relevant/similar projects executed;
• Company’s financial details for the past three (3) years;
• Tax Clearance Certificate for the past three (3) years;
• Evidence of Registration with PENCOM;
• Evidence of Registration with Industrial Training Fund (ITF);
• Ability to complete the project within a specified time;
• Bank Reference and
• Statement as to completion date of the project.

Closing Date/Submission of Application
All applications for pre-qualification must be delivered in a sealed envelope marked Application for Pre-qualification” at the top corner of the envelope and should be forwarded to the Registrars Office, Federal College of Education (Technical), Asaba on or before 9th January, 2013. The submitted envelopes will be opened at 12.00 noon on the same day at the Board Room of the College.

This invitation for pre-qualification is not an invitation to tender. Only pre-qualified companies/firms will be invited to tender
