Nigeria Sovereign Investment Authority Call for Proposal for IT Solutions Provider

The Nigeria Sovereign Investment Authority (NSIA) recently established by the Federal Government of Nigeria has set a long-term goal to become a best-in-class Sovereign Wealth Fund with the capabilities to manage pledged funds at its disposal.

The NSIA invites competent IT infrastructure providers to submit proposals for the implementation of base technology applications and infrastructure in accordance with process, terms and conditions that will be contained in the Bidding Document.

In line with this, the management of the NSIA seeks an IT partner to install enabling IT applications and infrastructure. Accordingly, the objectives of the project are as follows:
  • Roll-out of basic IT infrastructure required to support foundational operations at the NSIA.
  • Installation of office tools which aid productivity and collaboration.
  • Implementation of a robust support process to enable early resolution of IT incidents.
  • Development of an IT operating model to define structure and processes required to support the business.
  • Provide IT software solutions for data processing.

Interested applicants must demonstrate minimum capabilities in the following areas:
  • Technical capabilities in carrying out similar assignments.
  • Evidence/Track record in IT solutions in Nigeria.
  • IT System certifications (and references).
  • At least 5 years experience in providing IT solutions to large corporations.

Requirements for Submission
Interested applicants should provide as part of their submission the following key requirements:
  • Ownership structure including photocopies of Certificate of Incorporation with Corporate Affairs Commission.
  • Photocopies of Tax Clearance Certificates for 2010, 2011 and 2012.
  • Company profile with details of key staff to be deployed for the proposed work.
  • Evidence of previous similar assignments executed with evidence of award and job completion certification.
  • Audited Accounts for the last three years (2010, 2011 and 2012) from a reputable audit firm.
  • Evidence of registration with the Pensions Commission.

One original and three photocopies of Expressions of Interest in sealed envelopes clearly marked “NSIA IT Solutions”, at the top right hand corner should be delivered to the address below:

Transaction Process
Pre-qualified firms will be expected to obtain the bidding document upon payment of a non-refundable fee of N25,000 Bank Draft or Managers Cheque drawn in favour of ‘Nigeria Sovereign investment Authority’.
