1.) This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project that appeared in Development Business, issue no. GNP/002/07 of 9th September, 2006 and 12th February, 2007

2.) The Federal Republic of Nigeria has received a credit from the International Development Association toward the cost of Anambra State Malaria Control Booster Project (ANMCBP), and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit to payments under the contract for procurement of drugs

3.) The Anambra State Malaria Control Booster Project (ANMCBP) now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for

4.) Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and iDA Credits, and is open to all bidders from Eligible Source Countries as defined in the Guidelines. May 2004, revised October 1, 2006 & May, 2010

5.) Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Anambra State Malaria Control Booster Project (ANMCBP) and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below from 0800 to 1600 hours, Monday to Friday, except on public holidays.

6.) Qualifications requirements include: Evidence of 5 years manufacturing experience or supply and must have done two similar supplies in the last 5 years be applied.

7.) A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written Application to the address below and upon payment of a non refundable fee of N 10,000.00 (Ten Thousand Naira) only. The method of payment will be by bank draft or cash paid to Fidelity Bank Plc Awka, Anambra State into Naira Interest Account No. 5030005129. The documents will be collected by bidders representative.

8.) Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before 12.00 noon, February, 2013. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of at least 2.5% of bid price or an equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at King David Hotel Limited Awka, 46 Regina Caeli Road Awka by 12.00 noon on 19th February, 2013.
