MAPS Project aims to contribute to the reduction of malaria-associated mortality in Nigeria by 50% by 2014 as compared with the 2010 levels particularly by improving household positive behavior towards malaria prevention and control interventions. Thus, the Nigeria MAPS project has issued an RFP to request qualified media companies to submit proposals of its technical qualifications as well as associated budget for design, production and airing of a proposed radio program which will help with community engagement and increasing awareness and support to malaria control interventions in communities MAPS is supporting.
Please note the following:
- Vendors should include concept and production and airing costs for radio in 7 MAPS states; Zamfara, Nasarawa, Cross River, Oyo, Ebonyl, Benue, and Kogi States.
- Vendors should specify validity period of quote, during which price remains unchanged.
- Vendors should specify preferred payment terms, if applicable. Please note that FHI 360/MAPS will not, under any circumstances, issue full payment upfront.
- All quotations should be in local currency, Naira (NSN).
- FHI 360/MAPS does not pay VAT, and is exempt by the Federal Government.
- Inclusion of evidence of valid registration with regulatory body is pertinent.
Per Federal Government regulations, FHI 360/MAPS will deduct 5% Withholding tax from the total of the successful bid and remit to the Federal Inland Revenue Services.
