Invitation for Pre-Qualification Bid 2009/2010 Tertiary Education Trust Fund and Intervention in Library Development at Imo State Ministry of Education

A. Introduction
The Imo State Ministry of Education, Owerri is inviting competent and interested contractors/suppliers to submit pre-qualification documents for the procurement of volumes of various assorted tiles of textbooks for selected Senior Secondary Schools in Imo State.

B. Prequalification Requirements

• Evidence of Company Registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission
• Evidence of three years current tax clearance certificate
• Company’s audited account for the last three years
• Company profile
• Evidence of company’s financial standing and bank support
• Verifiable list of similar iobs, successfully executed
• VAT registration and evidence of VAT remittance
• Evidence of registration with the Ministry of Works and Transport
• Identification of contract with the Ministry of Educations Owerri

C. Closing Date
26th February, 2013

D. Submission of Pre-Qualification Documents
Pre-qualification requirement listed in (B) above should be returned in wax - sealed envelope marked Prequalification for 2009/2010 TETFUND Project” addressed and submitted to the Hon. Commissioner, Ministry of Education, Owerri.

E. Important Notice
Only short listed contractors/Suppliers shall be invited to tender and the Ministry shall not be liable to any company not considered as qualified.
