Invitation for Pre-Qualification of Contractors to Tender for Activities Towards Achieving Millennium Development Goals Under the 2012 CGS

Taraba State has been selected to participate in the 2012 Conditional Grant Scheme to be funded from the Paris club Debt Relief Grants. The scheme is being supervised by the Millennium Development Goals (MDG’s) Office in the Presidency. The project and programme to be executed are geared towards achieving the Millennium Development Goals. As one of the States of the Federation that has been selected to benefit from this Scheme, Taraba State will apply the funds for the following activities:

Health

• Procurement of TB lab equipment and consumables
• Procurement of HIV Rapid Test Kits
• Procurement of drugs and supply for MNCA week

Water

• Construction of solar powered bore holes
• Spring water Development for communities and
• Rehabilitation of Existing Water Supply schemes

Agriculture

• Procurement of assorted Pest Control chemicals for farmers through Agric Area Offices

Monitoring & Evaluation

Pre-Qualification Requirements

• Certificate of Incorporation or Business Name registration
• Tax clearance certificate for the past three years. (2010, 2011 & 2012)
• Evidence of registration as a contractor with the Taraba State Government.
• Full Company profile, detailing the experiences in the areas of interest
• Qualifications and individual experiences of key staff
• Evidence of financial capability and Bank support
• Evidence of Registration with relevant proffessional regulating bodies and current payment of proffessional fees
• Company Audited Account for the past 3 years

Application from intending contractors accompanied with pre-qualification documents should be submitted 18th February, 2013 to address below.
